Zev first learned to appreciate the power of the spoken word by listening to his mother’s rabbinic sermons, and later while studying the impact of historic American speeches and volunteering on the Obama campaign.
During his senior year of college, Zev worked as the primary staff writer for Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo of California, responsible for drafting speeches, Congressional Record remarks, and other office communications.
Zev graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Stanford University, where he studied history and political science and was active in several political organizations. His prize-winning senior thesis examined how John F. Kennedy capitalized on an obscure Senate committee to construct his political persona. |
