| David is a graduate of Yale University, where he edited The Record, the country’s oldest college humor magazine, and performed with the improv comedy troupe The Exit Players.
David knows firsthand how powerful well-crafted speech can be. During a January 2008 flight to New York City, he watched Barack Obama’s victory speech after the Iowa Caucuses. By the time the plane landed, he had decided to put comedy-writing plans on hold and work full time on the campaign. After receiving a B.A. with Honors in history in May 2008, he went to Wooster, Ohio, where he ran a countywide field office.
David moved to Washington in January 2009. In addition to his work with West Wing Writers, he has written for The Onion, McSweeney’s.net, and That’s Beijing magazine. |
