After graduating from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with a degree in political science, Jessica joined Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle's press team as a deputy press secretary. Though the cold, cruel realities of electoral politics obliged her to take a short respite from Congressional life, she returned to Capitol Hill in 2006, serving first on the staff of Senator Dianne Feinstein and then as deputy chief clerk for the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.
Jessica joined West Wing Writers in 2008 as the firm’s business manager, overseeing the operational side of the house, coordinating human resources, and handling administrative communications with West Wing Writers’ more than one hundred clients.
